Welcome ......
A Message from our President
 Naresh Chauhan

London-Hendon Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service organisation which was formed in 1917 in the USA. Growth has been significant and there are now over 1.35 million members in over 195 countries with more than 45,000 clubs. Our motto is “We Serve”

We currently have 20 members and meet once a month to discuss current and future service projects and fund-raising events for those worthy causes including helping victims caught up in natural disasters and helping the elderly and disadvantaged children. Our aim is to build an environment of true community spirit and togetherness which enables us to help those less fortunate than ourselves. We help where help is needed, it could be in our own communities or around the world.

We welcome any comments, suggestions or feedback you may have either on this website or on our club’s activities.  Please contact me or any of the club officers to find out more about the work of the Lions or to join us as a member to lessen our burden. We really could do with some more hands to serve those less fortunate than ourselves.

Welcome to the Lions Club of London - Hendon website. The information on this website is designed to show the outside world who we are, what we do and our wider role in the local and international community, as well as allow fellow club members and other Lions to be kept updated with the latest projects and events being undertaken by the Club.

Our Club is part of the world's largest network of voluntary service organisations, Lions Clubs International, which has as its prime objective to create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. Lions Clubs take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of their communities and promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. The money raised by the Lions is used principally to help people in the local community, but also, in line with the Lions’ worldwide perspective, to help those in need in other countries, particularly the Third World.
