Lions Club of Hendon is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organisation, bringing people together to serve the community and support worthwhile causes.
Who we are
Lions Club of Hendon is a local service club made up of people who want to help others, support the community and work together in friendship. Our members come from different backgrounds, but share a common wish to make a practical difference.
As part of Lions Clubs International, we are connected to a worldwide network of clubs dedicated to service. While our focus is often local, we also support national and international causes when help is needed.
What we do
The club organises fundraising events, supports community projects and helps people through both direct service and charitable giving. Over the years this has included community outings, support for local appeals, donations to charities, and practical help for people facing hardship.
We also provide members with the opportunity to contribute their time, ideas and energy in a friendly and purposeful setting.
