Senior Citizens Party

The 13th Annual Senior Citizens Party organised by the District took place on the 3rd February 2013. District clubs sponsor tables of senior citizens and this year LCLH sponsored 2 tables of 10 for Hounslow Homes and Age Concern. The event was fully booked with many on the waiting list. However, on the day, adverse weather conditions prevented may senior citizens from attending largely because of transport problems.

Those who were able to attend were treated to delicious food and entertainment including bingo. The day has been best described by a Lion who has attended many of these annual events:

"Congratulations to you and the SCC Committee for another excellent event. It is unfortunate that the snow prevented many people from attending. However, for those seniors and Lions who did attend, it was an enjoyable afternoon. The musical and dance entertainment hit a high mark and they should be used again in 2013. The decorations, table set up and food were well done".

LCLH was well represented by its members Lion President Naresh, Lions Ashish Avlani, Sunil Patel, Jayesh Sheth, Satish Dhir & Parag Bhargava, friends of some of the members as well as Leos from Hendon Leos.
